Baazee CEO arrested - Indian law gone nuts

Baazee.com's CEO Avnish Bajaj was arrested yesterday, and today the court has ordered that he be kept in judicial custody for a period of 14 days.

Nuts I say.

I do not know the letter of the law, but I do know that it is virtually impossible for a baazee.com or anyone else to ensure that some of the users do not break the law. Arresting the CEO and interrogating him on what - whether he was there when that twit of boy received oral sex and he filmed it and put it on his own portal? Police needs to interrogate him, it seems. There is nothing they can get out him that they can't get on the phone, I say.

But then Indian police is stupid, and pretty much illiterate except for some notable exceptions.
