Several major airlines based in the United States have temporarily stopped flying to Mexico because of poor demand for flights to Mexico, which has been hit by an outbreak of swine flu.

A meeting of the Health Ministers of the European Union (EU) has rejected a proposal by France to stop flights to and from Mexico, the country which has been hit by swine flu.
