Emirates Airline, based in Dubai in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), is raising the number of its flights to Angola and South Africa later in 2009.

  Making a strategic move ahead of the 2010 FIFA World Cup, Emirates Airline has announced flights to Durban from October 1, 2009. The daily service is expected to be the only direct air link between the international aviation hub of Dubai and Durban, one of South Africa's host cities for FIFA-mania next year.
