Madurai-based Paramount Airlines has announced that it will start another daily service between Chennai and Kolkata to cater to business executives from eastern and southern India.
The Chennai-based Paramount airlines plans to start their new daily flights to Kolkata from April 22, 2009.
Airlines in India are slashing business class fares because of a 10 to 15 per cent fall in business class passenger traffic, due to cost cutting across companies.
Paramount Airways has launched daily flights from Trivandrum to Pune via Chennai. Pune is Paramount Airways' third center in the Western sector. Earlier, Paramount Airways launched daily flights from Trivandrum to Ahmedabad and Goa via Chennai.
Western India will soon see Paramount flights with the Tamil Nadu-based domestic airline major all set to kick off operations to Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Pune and Goa.
