AeroMexico, the biggest airline in Mexico, has started the first non-stop international flight between New Orleans, in south-eastern Louisiana, the United States, and Mexico City, the capital of Mexico, since the 2005 Hurricane Katrina.

  The United States-based Continental Airlines will launch daily, non-stop flights from its hub at Bush Intercontinental Airport in Houston, Texas, the United States, to Rio de Janeiro in Brazil, starting August 1, 2009.

Southwest Airlines, the low-cost airline based in Dallas, Texas, the United States, is expanding yet again in Denver in a big way by adding 5 non-stop departures and three new cities.
