Jet Airways, the privately owned airline based in Mumbai, India, is introducing daily, non-stop flights between Delhi in India and Hong Kong on September 30, 2009.

Kingfisher Airlines, based in Bangalore, India, has announced that it is expanding its worldwide network by starting flights on eight new international routes in 2009.  

Kingfisher Airlines has said that it would add seven more international flights to its roster of flights, by April 2009.

Cathay Pacific Airways, the largest airline and flag carrier of Hong Kong, has announced a series of measures aimed at cutting costs, including the deferring aircraft deliveries and offering staff unpaid leave as the airline faces a sharp slowdown in both passenger and cargo traffic.
