United Airways, the leading private airline of Bangladesh, has announced that it will start flying between Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh, and Dubai in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) from July 10, 2009.

Kingfisher Airlines, based in Bangalore, India, has launched daily, direct flights between Kolkata in eastern India and Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh.

Kingfisher Airlines has said that it would add seven more international flights to its roster of flights, by April 2009.
