Airbus signs joint venture deal with China to make components for A350 and A320

Airbus Industrie, based in Toulouse, France, and a subsidiary of the European Aeronautic Defence and Space Company (EADS), has signed an agreement with a group of Chinese industrial partners to set up a joint-venture manufacturing centre in Harbin, China, to make carbon-fibre composite parts as well as components for the Airbus A350XWB and Airbus A320 family.

Airbus plane that landed in Hudson River had engines which FAA had earlier ordered to inspect

It has been revealed that the United States Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) had ordered stringent inspection of the type of engines on the US Airways plane that splash-landed in New York's Hudson River after a few of those engines were found to have a rare kind of stall problem known as "compression stall."

Air Arabia to buy 10 more Airbus A320 planes for its new hub in Morocco

Airbus opens final assembly line for A320 aircraft in China

High fuel costs force JetBlue to put off delivery of 21 Airbus A320 jets

JetBlue Airways, partly owned by Deutsche Lufthansa AG of Germany, has said it deferred deliveries of 21 Airbus A320 jets. This has been done with a view to slowing down further the airline’s expansion in the midst of enormously high prices of jet fuel.
