AirAsia X, the long-haul, low-cost carrier based in Kuala Lumpur, has announced that it will increase the number of flights between Kuala Lumpur, the capital of Malaysia, and the Gold Coast in Queensland, Australia, by two return flights a week.

AirAsia X, the long-haul budget airline based in Malaysia, will start services between Kuala Lumpur, the capital of Malaysia, and London’s Stansted Airport at a price as low as £99 one way.
Malaysia-based AirAsia X, just one year old, has been given the coveted Best New Airline of the Year Award-2008 Award, instituted by the Centre for Asia Pacific Aviation (CAPA).
