Dr Vijay Mallya’s Kingfisher Airlines has entered into a pact with the hugely popular multiplex chain, Fame, to kick start a promotional alliance beginning this week. The alliance between Kingfisher Airlines and Fame Cinemas which owns the chain of Fame multiplexes across India, will help the frequent flyers of Kingfisher Airlines who automatically become members of the King Club to earn and redeem the privileged King Miles at the Fame multiplexes.

Frequent flyers on Kingfisher can redeem King Miles by means of buying tickets for their favourite movies at the Fame chain. The money spent there will add King Miles, a special facility for the King Club members, to their club. All that King Club members need to do is to show up at the Fame multiplex with their club card and redeem their King Miles to buy tickets for the movie.

This is the first time ever in India that an airline has partnered with a multiplex chain. Fame Multiplexes will now be able to deliver added value to its guests, said Adlabs while a Kingfisher official said that the coming together of  Fame multiplexes and Kingfisher Airlines is yet another initiative to reward the airline’s passengers.
