Jet Konnect starts flights from Delhi to Chennai, Patna, Raipur; additional Mumbai-Coimbatore service from November 11, 2009

Jet Airways Konnect, the all-economy, low-cost subsidiary of Jet Airways, the privately owned airline based in Mumbai, India, has started 3 new flights from Delhi to Chennai, Patna and Raipur.

Jet Konnect Flight 9W 2263 departs from Delhi at 16.05 hours and lands in Chennai at 18.40 hours. In the return direction, Flight, 9W 2264, takes off from Chennai at 19.20 hours and arrives in Delhi at 22 hours.

On the Delhi-Patna route, Jet Airways Konnect Flight 9W 2287 takes off from Delhi at 11.45 hours and lands in Patna at 13.15 hours. On the return leg, Flight 9W 2288 leaves Patna at 13.50 hours and reaches Delhi at 15.25 hours.

Flight 9W 2213 departs from Delhi at 05:40 hours and arrives at Raipur at 07:25 hours. In the return direction, Flight 9W 2214 leaves Raipur at 08:00 hours and reaches Delhi at 09:50 hours.

In addition to these 3 new routes, Jet Airways Konnect will increase capacity on the Mumbai-Coimbatore route, with one additional flight, from November 11, 2009.

Jet Airways Konnect Flight 9W 2109 will leave Mumbai at 07.10 hours and reach Coimbatore at 09:00 hours. In the opposite direction, Flight 9W 2110 will take off from Coimbatore at 09:40 hours and land in Mumbai at 11:30 hours.

In a statement, Sudheer Raghavan, chief commercial officer of Jet Airways, said that there has been a strong demand for all-economy flights on the Delhi-Chennai, Delhi-Patna, Delhi-Raipur and the Mumbai-Coimbatore sectors.

On the Delhi-Patna route, besides those of Jet Airways Konnect, 5 other services were already being operated. Out of these 5 services, 4 flights – 2 of Air India, 1 of Jet Airlines, and 1 of Kingfisher Red – operate daily. IndiGo operates 3 flights a week on the Delhi-Patna route – on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.

While the flights of Air India and Jet Airways between Delhi and Patna are regular ones, those of IndiGo and Kingfisher Red are low-fare flights.

Together, Jet Airways and Jet Airways Konnect operate 365 flights daily.
