Jet Airways launches JetEscapes holiday packages

Jet Airways, the privately owned airline based in Mumbai, India, has launched an array of new holiday packages under the name JetEscapes.

A statement from Jet Airways says that JetEscapes, which comes at affordable rates (inclusive of surcharges and air taxes), offers passengers a variety of theme-based packages like Honeymoon, Adventure, Wildlife, Beach,  Corporate Travel, Cultural, Pilgrim, and Family in most domestic as well as international holiday destinations that Jet Airways flies to.

While the famous Indian destinations include Leh, Bandhavgarh, Shimla, Sasan Gir and Alappuzha, the overseas locations comprise Nuwaraeliya (Sri Lanka), Tamanegara (Malaysia), Brussels and Paris.

JetEscapes, according to Jet Airways, comes in a variety of prices. The hotel categories range from 3-star hotels to 5-star hotels – complete with airport/ local transfers (in airconditioned, private vehicles), meal as well as and city tours, based on the package chosen.

According to Sudheer Raghavan, chief commercial officer, Jet Airways, the JetEscapes package is “flexible, dynamic, real-time and seamless” and with “instant confirmation” of air, hotel and related arrangements. These facilities, he added, offer travellers “complete holiday packages at competitive prices across an array of price points.”

JetEscapes, the airline claimed, also gives the travellers the flexibility to customise their “travel experience” by enabling them to book packages with hotel checkin/checkout dates that need not have to coincide with their dates of flights. There is no extra cost for this.

The new holiday package gives the travellers the option to choose their flights to their desired destinations, to add extra nights to their selected plan as well as enjoy optional services such as local tours, cruise dinners, visits to historic sites and cultural events.

According to Jet Airways, JetEscapes provides a holidaymaker with detailed, handy, day-wise itinerary for the entire holiday, in addition to the assistance from a JetEscapes Service Centre.

JetEscapes holiday packages can be booked through Jet Airways’ ticketing office or the carrier’s approved International Air Transport Association (IATA) travel agent.

JetEscapes – which is available in both premier-class and economy-class – soon can be booked from other countries such as the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand.

Packages that cater to code-share connections which Jet Airways operate will be added soon, the airline said in the statement.
