Jet Airways, All Nippon Airways join in frequent-flyer partnership

Jet Airways’ JetPrivilege, the largest frequent flyer program in India, has joined All Nippon Airways, headquartered in Minato, Tokyo, Japan, in a frequent-flyer partnership.

Jet Airways, based in Mumbai, India, operates over 380 flights daily, including domestic and international services.

With this partnership, members of JetPrivilege will have additional opportunities to earn and redeem their ‘JPMiles’ on flights marketed and operated by All Nippon Airways to over 50 destinations in Japan and 27 cities throughout Asia, Europe and the United States.

In addition, members of JetPrivilege will earn JPMiles while travelling on the Jet Airways’ code-share flight between Mumbai, India, and Narita International Airport, located in Narita, Chiba, Japan, on the All Nippon Airways-operated daily business jet flights.

The partnership between Jet Airways and All Nippon Airways will also allow members of All Nippon Airways’ Mileage Club to earn and redeem their miles on over 385 daily flights to 43 destinations in India and 17 international destinations operated by Jet Airways

Jet Airways at present operates a fleet of 81 aircraft, including 10 Boeing 777-300 ER aircraft, 8 Airbus A330-200 aircraft, 54 Classic and Next Generation Boeing 737-400/700/800/900 aircraft, and 9 modern ATR 72-500 turboprop aircraft. With an average fleet age of 4.20 years, the airline claims that it has one of the youngest aircraft fleet in the world.

According to a statement from Jet Airways, JetPrivilege is India’s largest frequent-flyer programme with nearly 50 partners worldwide in 8 partner-categories. There are now 16 airline partners: Air France, American Airlines, Austrian Airlines, Brussels Airlines, Cathay Pacific, Dragonair, Gulf Air, JetLite, KLM, Lufthansa, Northwest, Qantas, South African, SWISS, Virgin Atlantic, and All Nippon Airways.

JetPrivilege also has partners in finance, hotels, car rentals, retail, publishing, lifestyle, and telecommunication.

All Nippon Airways, ranked among the top 10 airlines in the world, carries about 50 million passengers every year to 50 destinations in Japan and 27 cities throughout Asia, Europe and the United States. It has been in the airline business for over 50 years now.

At present, All Nippon Airways’ fleet consists of over 210 aircraft, including 120 wide-bodied planes.

Being a member of Star Alliance, passengers of All Nippon Airways enjoy access to a network of 965 airport destinations in 162 countries, and also reciprocal benefits such as mileage accrual and redemption, and lounge access, according to the company’s website.
