In India, Embraer’s authorise service providers would be Indamer Company Pvt Ltd. Invision Projects Pvt Ltd has placed an order for 20 Phenom 100 VLJ planes, while Aviators India Pvt Ltd, an air taxi service, has ordered two.

Embraer’s Vice President (Marketing & Sales) Asia Pacific Region (Executive Jets) told Deccan Herald newspaper that there will be a flying demo of the Phenom 100 VLJ in Bangalore followed by one in New Delhi.

Embraer says that the Phenom 100 VLJ offers great passenger comfort, large cabin and windows, great style, comfort and conveniences. Luggage compartment offers 1501 liters of space, there is additional storage space in the nose and in the interior wardrobes.

The engines that power the Embraer Phenom 100 VLJ are two Pratt & Whitney PW617F-E units which provide 1695 pounds of thrust each. Maximum range with full seat utilization is 2182 kilometers. Maximum altitude attained by the Phenom 100 is 41,000 feet, while maximum cruise speed is Mach 0.70.
