British Airways, the national flag-carrier airline of the United Kingdom, has effected changes in its flight schedule from Hyderabad, in India, to London.

The new flight schedule, British Airways said, in a statement, is valid until October 27, 2009.

The changes, according to the airline, have been made to enable passengers to make easy onward connections from Heathrow Airport in London.

According to the new flight schedule, British Airways Flight BA 276 will leave Rajiv Gandhi International Airport in Hyderabad on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at 0655 hours.

On Saturday and Sunday, Flight BA 276 will fly on the same time as before, taking off at 0635 hours on Saturday and at 0630 hours on Sunday.

On the return direction, Flight BA 277 will depart from London’s Heathrow Airport on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday at 1430 hours and will land at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport in Hyderabad at 0440 hours the following day.

Judy Jarvis, British Airways’ South Asia regional commercial manager, said that the airline’s new schedule “would enable our customers bound for the United Kingdom not only reach London the same day but also would give them a full working day ahead.”

For those customers of British Airways who are travelling to Europe and the United States, the new flight timings on the Hyderabad-London route “provide convenient connections for their onward journey,” Judy Jarvis added.
