Tata Nano Dealers in Chennai, booking details, amount

Tata Motors will accept bookings for the Tata Nano, from March 23, 2009, the day of its commercial launch.

Update:

The booking amount for the Tata Nano is Rs 70,000. The Tata Nano will be sold only through a few Tata dealerships, because of the limited number of Tata Nanos that will be sold initially. The list of dealerships that will sell the Tata Nano, along with the prices of the three variants of the Tata Nano, will be revealed on the day of the launch.

Tata Motors has said that the Tata Nano can be booked only through the State Bank of India (SBI). Bookings will not be accepted at dealerships.

Jayanta Kumar Sinha, Chief Manager of SBI concurred that SBI is the sole booking agent for the Tata Nano.
