Toyota's new refreshed Innova seems to be doing a good job of holding its own against the Mahindra Xylo. Since its launch in late January 2009, the new Innova has sold 3,647 units.

Toyota is in the process of getting its dealerships across India in perfect shape for the upcoming launch of its small car, we hear. Not any time soon, though. Hiroshi Nagakawa, MD of Toyota Kirloskar told the Economic Times that the car would be launched in 22 months' time, and it is halfway through development.

A new face-lifted version of the hugely successful Innova MPV has been launched by Toyota in India.

Toyota Kirloskar Motors launched a facelifted of its multi purpose vehicle, the Toyata Innova, in India. The estimated introductory price tag for various versions of vehicle would lie in between 7.66 lakhs to 11.06 lakhs. We bring you the initial details and a few photos here.

The Mahindra Xylo will debut on January 13, 2009 - that's today. The much awaited MUV from the Mahindra stables will roll out of the Nashik facility in Maharashtra.

Toyota Kirloskar Motor will launch a CNG version of its Toyota Innova in end-January 2009. The CNG Innova will cost Rs 75,000 - Rs 90,000 extra, including warranty and installation costs.

So it is not the Ingenio anymore - its the Mahindra Xylo. Pronounce it Zy-Lo, as the company wants you to. Or as silo, as in missile silo!
