Northern Lights Energy has signed a deal with Bangalore-based REVA Electric Car co. for the exclusive rights to distribute REVA electric car models in Iceland.

Reva electric Co. has struck a deal with Long Island-based Bannon Automotive LLC to manufacture the three-door hatchback Reva NXR electric car in Central New York.

In the middle of all the noise about the Chevrolet Cruze, we missed this story.  It now seems that the electric version of the Chevrolet Spark which General Motors is planning to launch in association with the Reva electric car company, will be named the Chevrolet Spark Electra.

Reva Electric Car Co. has said that it will display two new models, REVA NXR (next revolution) and REVA NXG (next generation), at the 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show.

Reva Electric Car Co. Pvt. Ltd (RECC), India’s first manufacturer of zero- polluting electric vehicles, will set up a new nature-friendly plant in Bommasandra, Bangalore.

The next generation electric car from Reva will debut in India in May this year. The Bangalore-based electric car maker is expected to roll out the new vehicle which will be powered by a Lithium Ion battery pack.

MTNL (Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Limited) has acquired a fleet of Reva electric cars for their technicians.
