India will soon get to see Audi’s R luxury sports car being launched at a price of Rs 1.17 crore. The Audi R8,  which was globally unveiled in the first half of 2007, will be launched before the end of the current year. Audi has said that it has already received orders for 15 R8 models and that it expects to sell around 1,000 cars in the country this year.

The hugely successful Audi A4 sedan's Indian production run has begun.  The A4 model, which has been launched on the Indian market in July 2008, is the second Audi model to be produced at its Aurangabad plant after the Audi A6.

German luxury car manufacturer Audi has said it has appointed five new dealerships at Ahmedabad, Chennai, Kochi, Kolkata and Ludhiana. Audi's dealership network now expands to 12 locations across India.

The Audi R8 sports car is coming to India.

Audi unveiled its new A4 sedan for India this week. The prices for the the Audi A4 in India start at Rs 29 lakh.
