India Yamaha Motor has launched the Yamaha FZ-S, a stylish version of the Yamaha FZ16, on March 2, 2009. The Yamaha FZ-S will cost Rs 67,000 (ex-showroom Delhi).
Also plans a 150 motorcycle, and may be considering CBR1000RR and VFR1000 / 800
Yamaha Motor India, fresh from the successful launch and great response for FZ-16, is now going ahead with plans to spruce up output. The bike major has said it would beĀ raising its production to 500 units a day from now on.
Long, long back this scooter segment was ruled by the Bajaj Chetak, and then there was the pretender LML Vespa.
