Not that any of us are going to buy either one. But its good to know we can buy one, if we luck out on the weekly lottery.

Suzuki Hayabusa in India priced at 12.5 lac
Today, Suzuki Motorcycle India launched two superbikes in new Delhi, India. The Suzuki Hayabusa is an iconic superbike, made famous in India by the improbable stunts in the movie Dhoom. The movie was a horror, the stunts were worse, but India came to know about that Hayabusa as the ultimate motorcycle to own.

The other motorcycle launched is the Suzuki Intruder M1800R, a cruiser motorcycle with a massive 1783 cc V-Twin engine.

The Suzuki Hayabusa (earlier called GSXR1300 in some markets) has a 1340 cc engine churning out 194 bhp that can propel it to 60 MPH in 2.6 seconds! Note that that’s miles, not kilometers. That would be 96.5 kilometers per hour in 2.6 seconds! Top speed is an electronically restricted 299 kmph.
We really, really hope the few rich kids and motorcycle enthusiasts who can pony up the money for this motorcycle rides it responsibly.

Suzuki Intruder launch
Almost forgot – the price for both the Hayabusa and the Intruder M1800R motorcycles in India will be Rs 12.5 lakh. Definitely not cheap. That’s a bit more than a normal petrol Civic’s price in India, by the way. We had reported on the expected launch of the Suzuki Hayabusa in India earlier.
The Suzuki Intruder M1800R is a 1783cc V-twin cruiser, DOHC, 54 degree, liquid-cooled, fuel injected V-twin engine designed for strong throttle response and quick acceleration. Maximum power produced is 125bhp @6,200 rpm and maximum torque: 160Nm @3,200 rpm. The M1800R intruder features a final shaft drive instead of a chain.

Hi,I am happy to say that motor cycle lovers could buy these wonderfull bikes in India.I should thank the Indian governament to allow these wonderfull bikes to be imported and for the Indian citizens to enjoy these wonderfull bikes.I wish the governament of India if they would have considered in relaxing the Automobile,Motorcycle Industries much earlier I as a motor cycle rider and a lover for them would have enjoyed more.As a senior citizen I would like to own and ride these bikes.I wish the governament of India would give relaxation on import duties by which bike lovers can enjoy these beasts on Indian roads.I wouuld like to know if Hyderabad (AP} would be one of the city’s to have these wonderfull Hyabusa’s,suzuki Intruder
M 1800R to be launched and Suzuki motors to give a better price for Indian riders to purchase these wonderfull bikes by reducing dealer margins, company to consider in passing a bit of there profits to the consumers to buy and enjoy .At the time of launch if the suzuki motor cycle company would give a special offer at the launch time I as senior citizen would buy one of the bikes.I hope to hear from you.
Thanks

THE HAYABUSA IS ONLY 10,000$ IN USA INCLUDING TAX AND TITLE, THATS COMING TO AROUND 5 LAKHS, 12.5 LAKHS FOR THAT BIKE IS TOO MUCH AND IS NOT WORTH IT, ON THE ROAD PRICE IN INDIA CAN COME UPTO 14 Lakhs, THE IMPORT DUTY OF INDIAN GOV, MUST BE RELAXED OR SUZUKI SHOULD MAKE AND ASSEMBLE THE BUSA IN INDIA TO GET IT GOING.
