The company is likely to position the car in the Indian market against the BMW 7-series and Audi A8.
The Panamera which wil be brought into India in September 2009 will come with unique features that are likely to be lapped up by the Indian luxury car buyer. The car will boast of enough space inside for four passengers and variable loading space for luggage. The car will also incorporate power units that would offer a high standard of fuel efficiency and low exhaust emission.
The engines on offer would be V6 or V-8, covering a power range from 300 – 500 bhp and featuring direct fuel injection.
