Mitsubishi Outlander debuts with a tag of Rs 20.20 lakh

The Mitsubishi Outlander, a tech-heavy and charming SUV, from Hindustan Motors and Mitsubishi Motors, has debuted. The launch of the Outlander in India is in line with the HM policy of offering the latest from the Mitsubishi stable to the Indian consumers.

The Mitsubishi Outlander has all the potential to be a winner and is expected to strengthen Mitsubishi brand as a leader amongst premium SUVs.

Mitsubishi Outlander’s debut in India follows its success in markets such as North America, Japan, Australia, Canada and Western Europe. The Mitsubish SUV had garnered  praise for its all-road capabilities due to its electronically controlled all-wheel control system. The Outlander has been priced at Rs. 20.20 lakh across India country and will be available in cascade white, silver dew, sunrise yellow, river blue, pasture green, twilight red and new moon black colours.

The Mitsubishi Outlander has been positioned in the premium segment and boasts of Mitsubishi’s MIVEC technology that gives it great performance and better fuel efficiency features. Reviews of the Mitsubishi Outlander say it is a user-friendly SUV and an absolute pleasure to drive. The Outlander is powered by 2.4 litre, 16 valve Mitsubishi Innovative Valve Timing and Electronic Control system petrol engine and the vehicle returns a maximum power of 170 PS/6000 rpm and has a flat torque of 226 N-m/4100 rpm.

Safety has been given utmost importance with the Outlander sporting a Reinforced Impact Safety Evolution body. Other unique aspects of the SUV include an intelligent and innovative vehicle electronic control system and continuous variable transmission with 6-speed Paddle Shifts on steering wheel. The electronically controlled four-wheel drive ensures a smooth drive and maneuverability. The drive selector changes the Mitsubishi Outlander’s drive mode from two wheel drive to four wheel drive or even a four wheel drive lock mode as per road conditions.

Dual stage front and co-passenger air bags, automatic climate control, reverse parking sensors, cruise control, multi information display system, security alarm, power and heated seat and engine immobilizer are the other features that the makers have incorporated in the Outlander.

    i am really unhappy by the launch of car. wats new is there anytthing new in that we already have 3 series in india . i was expecting at least we will get to hear good news from mistribshi may be at least have a evolution 8 and 9 but a great disapointment yamaha plz grow up we have benteleys mayback bmw7series so wake up and launch sum good cars for indian market we indians r not so poor we can by good cars if launched in india.
