Maruthi has plans to introduce the K series engine around Marche 2010. As per the emission norms all the metro cities(inclusive 12 other cities) will be migrated to BS IV norms from 1st April 2010. RTO will not accept the BS III standard for registration in these cities. Hopefully maruthi is tuning the K12 engine to fit it in maruti petrol version. There will not be any change in the diesel engine as they are planning to tune existing engine to adapt BSIV standards. As maruti is the first company to bring BSIV standard in India, the company can achieve it in other models before April 2010. But still its a question mark to other car manufacturers. Let see whether the companies can achieve it or the government to move the date to next fiscal? fingers crossed

If anyone has idea, I would like to know when the Swift petrol with K series engine is going to be launched. I would rather go for it than buying one with an outdated esteem engine.

Is there any difference in body-paint quality for this new glam?
I heard that goldsmith black color looks verygood and its different from the normal Swift black color. Someone please tell me about Noble White color... How is this color different from regular Swift pearl whit color. Is the new Noble White shift glam looks different than normal ?
Its not available in the showrooms.

I owned a swift glam yesterday from Trivandrum, Kerala. obviously its a fantastic new limited edition from Maruti.I spend exactly five lakh rupees as on road price for the car.
the keyless entry is just superb as the lock open and close keys are incorporated in the key itself... beige interiors and parcel tray gives a lot of space inside my car... I am satisfied
