Maruti Suzuki Alto Flash Limited Edition launched

Maruti Suzuki has launched a ‘limited edition’ Alto, the Alto Flash in Pune. We also hear that it is available in a few cities such as Bangalore.

Information is very scarce at this point, but then most of you are not normally obsessed about such small changes which car-makers keep coming up with occasionally, I guess.

Maruti would like you to believe that the new Alto Flash is high on style.
The new limited edition Alto Flash features front power windows, ‘designer’ graphics and art leather seat covers. The car also features body-coloured ‘feather-touch’ mirror and body-coloured door handles. Fenders too would be body coloured.

One can choose from five color options, silky silver, pearl silver, blue blaze, fire brick red and white.

The car would be available for the same price (ex-showroom) that the company has set for Alto. However the car is available with free in-built accessories worth Rs. 18,500.

What we think is that this is a dealer-special car. Not something direct from Maruti. The dealer adds all these thingummies to the Alto, and gives it you as the Alto Flash.

Ever since Maruti Alto was unveiled in the Indian market, it has enjoyed a fair bit of success with over 1 million units sold since 2000.
