First of all a very very congratulations for the xylo team in designing and bringing out such an apt MPV / SUV look a like vehicle for the Indian roads at an attractive and affordable price .
I fail to understand why in spite of the launch of the xylo in mid Jan09 , our main competitor Toyota Innova launching its modified new version has been successful in eating way our major piece of cake .In fact to tell you honestly I have made a brief survey & took feedback from a couple of taxi drivers of Innova and also from slightly not that very well versed with the web or auto journals guys to check the reason why xylo has not caught the market or Indian roads instantaneously .
On my analysis i found that
1, The Innova engine is far superior then that of Xylo , but the magazine over drive of june 09 has mentioned on the contrary .
2, The interiors of Innova are far superior then that of Xylo ,in fact looks rich on appearance ,
M& M team have to do something to beat the targets of Innova sales ,if the above is in correct ,
may be awareness is what is required for the moment .
