Mahindra Bolero Stinger customised concept unveiled

Mahindra & Mahindra Limited unveiled their new customized concept, Mahindra Bolero Stinger, at the Autocar Performance Show in Mumbai.

Manufactured on the Bolero platform, the Mahindra Bolero Stinger is a combination of powerful specifications with some good looking exterior features.

The Mahindra Bolero Stinger is powered by a 97hp CRDe engine, and is available in the 2WD BS3 variant.

“The Bolero Stinger epitomizes Mahindra’s ability to offer auto enthusiasts customized concepts of a high specification and detailing. It is a super stylish off roader which takes the rough and tough image of the Bolero to a new high.” said Vivek Nayer, senior vice president – marketing, automotive sector, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.

The Mahindra Bolero Stinger is meant for the adventurous and fun loving driver who thrives on speed and the thrill of the open road, he added.

The Mahindra Bolero Stinger is equipped with a custom-made guard with auxiliary lamps, and roll-in cage powder coated black.

The bonnet with stepped draw-in bezel is another modified feature of the Mahindra Bolero Stinger. The Bolero Stinger also flaunts its custom-fit color coordinated interiors, customized floor carpeting and leather suede upholstery.

Alloy wheels, custom-built tail lamp bezel with LED lamps, SS exhaust tail end in twin pipe, overhead amber indicator marker lamps are other noticeable features of the Mahindra Bolero Stinger. The car comes with MP3 player and rear cameras with sensor.

The first model of the car was unveiled in an auto show at Bandra Kurla Complex, in 2007, with two other customized Scorpios.

Mahinda & Mahindra presented Indian opener Gautam Gambhir with their new SUV for his brilliant performance in New Zealand.

Gambhir said that the one-of-a-kind Bolero Stinger had everything that he wanted in an off-roader, and he was looking forward to drive the vehicle.
