8 June, 2005: June 8, 2005: Santro Xing has got some interesting siblings: Hyundai Motor India has launched three new variants of the Santro Xing with eRLX technology, new interiors and a cheaper price tag starting at Rs 2.79 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). The new Santro Xing variants – XK-Non AC, XK and XL – will have the latest 1.1 litre engine with eRLX Active Intelligence technology, which gives class-leading low-end torque resulting in better pick-up, better fuel efficiency, lower maintenance and enhanced engine life, claims Hyundai Motor India.

The new Santro Xing variants are also equipped with stylish, new colour-coordinated interiors, a new front grill and a 4-speed AC blower that makes the air conditioning more efficient.

Talking about the value-additions to the Santro, Mr W S Min, Executive Director, Sales & Marketing, Hynudai Motor India, said, “Hyundai has a tradition of providing value for money to its customers. Each year, we introduce design and technology upgradations in our cars. The launch of new Santro variants is another step in the direction of constantly offering something new to our customers at affordable prices.”"
