Honda Motorcycle and Scooters India (HMSI) has launched the 125-cc CBF Stunner FI in India. The motorycle will be priced at Rs 64,630 (ex-showroom, Delhi), and will be available in the Indian market from June 2009.
“Last fiscal we sold about 10.7 lakh units of two-wheelers and this year we are targeting 12 per cent increase at 12.5 lakh units. And the CBF Stunner will play an important role,” HMSI Chief Executive Officer Shinji Aoyama said.
The Honda CBF Stunner FI is said to develop 11bhp at 8000 rpm and 11nm torque at 6500 rpm.
The company has said that the Honda CBF Stunner FI comes with PGM-FI technology, and reaches a top speed of 60 kmph in 5.2 seconds.
The Honda CBF Stunner FI uses a 4-stroke, air cooled OHC single cylinder engine, and comes with digital ignition, front and rear tubeless tyres, alloy wheels, half fairing and a stepped-up seat.
Honda had launched the Honda CBF Stunner in India, in July 2008, in three versions.
The top-end brake version Self Disc Alloy was priced at Rs 51,655, the Self Drum Alloy at Rs 49,820, and Kick Drum Alloy was priced at Rs 47,070.
The Honda CBF Stunner was launched in red, black, metallic silver and yellow colours.
In April 2009, HMSI had announced that it would invest Rs 300 crore for its expansion plans in India, till 2012.
The company had said that it wanted to expand its capacity to 1.5 million units from the current 12 lakh units, by 2011.
In 2009, HMSI sold more than a million units in the domestic market for the first time, reports said, registering 16.5 per cent growth figures.
The company wants to achieve 25 per cent growth in the Indian motorcycle segment by 2010.
Currently HMSI has 332 dealerships across the country which they plan to crank up to 370 by the end of 2009.
The Honda Unicorn was the first motorcycle launched by the HMSI in India. Honda’s current portfolio in the Indian market includes the 125cc Honda Shine, the 150cc Honda Eterno, the Honda Dio, and the Honda Aviator.

I m about to purchase stunner within 2 days. but i m confused btwn stunner & stunner FI. There is much difference in its price and there are only few changes like front nd rear disk brakes, only self start, increase in average (+ 3 or 5 kmpl ) and all……..
price: -stunner- 69,000.

Do u thnk it is worth giving nearly 75,000. for 125cc nd only with few changes??

no, it’s not worth….
it’s better u buy karizma instead of stunner FI… but stunner CBF is worth it… even i’m planning to buy in 2-3 days time……

no, there is much difference in both bikes .cbf includes censor tecnology which handle bike automatically in trouble situations .have a look on its sexy colour……………….its hot baby!!!!!!!!!
