Only 2,500 units of the Spark Muzic would be produced, says the company.

The additional features found in the GM Chevrolet Spark Muzic limited edition are a 2-DIN audio system head unit, with a high-fidelity four-speaker package, a 6-CD changer, sporty seat fabrics, and remote keyless entry.
The GM Chevrolet Spark Muzic limited edition has a 1000 cc S-Tec engine that provides 63 ps@5,400 rpm peak power and 90.3 Nm@4,200 rpm peak torque.
Spark has been a reasonably good performer for General Motors in India in 2008 – it is an ideal small city car that is okay on the highways too. But towards the end of 2008, a few small cars were introduced – the Hyundai i10, the i10 Kappa and then the Suzuki A-Star. Chevrolet needed something to recapture the attention of the buying public, and therefore the new Spark Muzic – with the only real change being the addition of the music system.
Would the new Spark Muzic be enough though, in a tough market, as buyers are increasingly staying away from any purchases? Guess we will know in a month’s time, as February-March sales numbers come in.
The GM Chevrolet Spark Muzic limited edition comes with a warranty of three years/100,000-km. The company has also provided customers the option of an add-on service maintenance package, the ‘Chevrolet Promise – Cashless Ownership Offer.’ If customers choose the offer they need not pay maintenance-related costs for three years or 45,000 km (whichever comes first).
GM India had launched the GM Chevrolet Spark in India in April 2007. The GM Chevrolet Spark accounts for over 75 per cent of GM’s revenues in the small car segment. Chevrolet Spark has consecutively won the prestigious J.D. Power Initial Quality Study (IQS) Award for two years in a row, in 2007 and 2008.
So it seems the little car we initially loved as the Daewoo Matiz lives on.
