Next Auto Expo in Bangladesh?

After Delhi, what? One of the organizers of the Auto Expo 2008, the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM), is thinking global.

SIAM has lined up something similar to the Pragati Maidan event in Bangladesh later in 2008. A couple of years ago the expo had traveled to Sri Lanka.

The SIAM and the Automotive Component Manufacturers Association (ACMA) have plans to support other shows as well as encourage participation in select ‘Made in India’ events of the Confederation of Indian Industry.

It is said that there have been requests from many other parts of India to host similar events. The organisers are mulling over conducting another show in the south, in a non-Auto Expo year.
