The new facelifted 2010 Toyota Camry, that was first unveiled at the 2009 North American International Auto Show in early 2009, will mostly sport style changes.
The car will have a new front grille, restyled fog lamps, LED tail lamps, new larger head light lenses, and indicators on the mirrors.
Other than this the car features an Aux input system for external audio sources and an option for 10 spoke alloy wheels.
The audio systems will have USB connectivity, vehicle stability control with traction control, and a built-in camera in the navigation system, say reports.
The 2010 Toyota Camry will come in two new colors, Dark Green Mica Metallic and Beige Mica Metallic.
The India price of the 2010 Toyota Camry has not yet been revealed but it is expected to be a little higher than the existing price of the current model that costs around Rs. 22.58 lakhs.
Toyota Motors aims to manufacture 400 cars for the Indian market in the latter half of 2009.
Toyota’s sales in India fell by a sharp seventy five per cent in the April-June quarter of 2009. This is perhaps the reason why the company has decided to roll out just 400 models of the new Camry for the remaining period of 2009.
Reports say that Toyota Motors will also launch its its sports utility vehicle, the Toyota Fortuner, by September 2009. The SUV, that will comes with a 3-litre advanced common-rail diesel engine, is likely to be priced at about Rs 20 lakh.
