Saab to roll out 9-3 range of Sport Saloon, SportWagon and Convertible models

17 May, 2007

Borrowing a few styling cues from the much appreciated Aero-X concept car, Saab Automobile is all set to roll out its Saab 9-3 range. A report said that the new vehicles will debut during the coming autumn in the United Kingdom.

The new 9-3 range will comprise Sport Saloon, SportWagon and Convertible models, all available with petrol, diesel or BioPower engine variants, it said. The cars will be available in four forms in the UK, namely Airflow, Linear SE, Vector Sport and Aero.

Predicting how the Saab 9-3 range will look like, the report added that it would take off from the Aero-X DNA, which sports a clamshell bonnet, front bumper and wings, signature lighting, new door panels and rear styling features.

Saab has said that it would be introducing significant developments across three key areas, such as design, performance and handling. This is expected to result in a major step forward in strengthening the visual and driving appeal of Saab’s core product line-up.
