6 May, 2008

Talking more on the British International Motor Show, that is to get underway this July, it has been learnt that Honda has lined up an action-packed display of cars, motorcycles and power equipment.

The display is expected to take over the Live Action Arena at the show. Significantly, for Honda, the year is also the occasion to celebrate its 60th year f existence. An auto news report said that to help Honda celebrate its 60th birthday, a series of ‘Dreamscape’ shows will tell the unique story of Honda’s history, and will also feature Asimo, Honda’s advanced humanoid robot. Asimo will be showing off its latest skills, including a new ability to run, the report said.

It has been pointed out that classic models, including Honda monkey bikes and a Mk1 Civic, are set to take part in the displays. The company aims at explaining the meaning of ‘The Power of Dreams’, before bringing the audience up-to-date with performances from the company’s current range of products, the report pointed out.

Honda officials have gne on record stating that Dreamscape won’t be the normal rubber-burning, petrol-fumed show. On the contrary, the history of Honda show would be an entertaining, interesting and educational journey through the world of Honda. According to the report, each Dreamscape performance will last 20 minutes followed by 10 minutes viewing time, where visitors can get close to the stars of the show.

The award-winning British International Motor Show sponsored by Zurich Connect returns to ExCeL London from 23 July - 3 August 2008 bringing glamour, excitement, innovation, inspiration and more. Get set for all the action, all the way from London
