Daewoo G2X Roadster launch soon

The Seoul Motor Show last month had a charmer having the wraps taken off it. Though the official launch is still weeks away, the GM Daewoo G2X roadster gave everyone present the looks they could dream of.

Powered by a 2.0-liter 260-hp engine complete with a turbocharger and gasoline direct injection, the G2X has all in it to make it a classic roadster with abundant power and breathtaking acceleration according to automobile websites and reviewers.

Offering true sports car performance and an exhilarating driving experience, the car is expected to take the GM Daewoo brand places. An exciting shape, which contrasts sharp edges with curved surfaces to create a dynamic look, the G2X boasts of a wide stance, sleek silhouette, long front-hinged hood and short overhangs, the proportions are typical of its class, the report added.

The G2X roadster comes with high-tech features such as gasoline direct injection, a twin-scroll turbocharger with intercooler and double camshaft phasing. Besides, the twin counter-rotating balance shafts provide the basis for the 1,998-cm 3 four-cylinder engine's impressive performance data, the review pointed out.

The review has been pointed out Daewoo G2Xs engineers have designed a classic sporty configuration based on a rigid chassis, wide track and long wheelbase of 2,415 mm. All four wheels are suspended from twin A-arms made from forged aluminum, the center of gravity is low, and the weight distribution of 51:49 percent is well balanced, it said.

It is expected that the GM Daewoo G2X roadster, awaiting a splash in the car market worldwide, would be a vehicle to watch out for. What the enthusiasts previewed at the Seoul Motor Show is all set to take the roads by storm. Get set for Daewoo Returns!
