25 August , 2005: The new 2007 Audi Q7
luxury performance SUV Borg, expected to be launched in the
first half of 2006 will have its all- wheel drive transfer case system
from Borg Warner. Borg Warner is iconic in four-wheel drive
transmissions. In a statement, Cindy Niekamp, President and General Manager, BorgWarner TorqTransfer
Systems said that ""BorgWarner TorqTransfer Systems is delighted to add Audi to the list of valued customers who benefit from our advanced technology, quality, and creative solutions to all-wheel drive
challenges."
The Audi Q7 will be positioned squarely against the Porsche
Cayenne, another performance luxury SUV.
The 2007 Audi Q7 looks exotic and mean enough at the same
time, exactly what people who are willing to pony up what
could be an astronomical amount want.
Audi Q7 pictures and wallpapers are available now - we no
longer have to do with the teaser shots and spy shots.
The 2006 Audi Q7 SUV, while it can take terrain of any
kind, is really not expected to do so. You would be mad to
take this semi-exotic out mud-plugging anyway. But just in
case you are truly so, we are delighted to inform you that its
adjustable air suspension, taller and longer stance, and a
choice of a V6, V8 or a deadly V10 engine will easily see you
through the outdoors. Yes, that really is a threat to a
Porsche Cayenne, as you can see.
The BorgWarner all-wheel drive transfer case system on the
Audi Q7 enhances vehicle handling and fuel efficiency. A BorgWarner Morse TEC Hy-Vo(R) chain provides quiet all-wheel drive operation. System production will begin during the fourth quarter of this year at BorgWarner TorqTransfer Systems in Margam, Wales.
