15 June, 2005: Tiger Airways, Singapore’s low-budget airline, has just concluded bookings on a discount tickets spree. It offered an across-the-board 25% discount on all seats to eight select destinations, as part of its effort to bring greater cheer to savvy shoppers at the Great Singapore Sale. The promotion was made even sweeter by exclusive hotel special rates available online.
Travelers were entitled to enjoy discounted fares to Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Hanoi, Hat Yai, Macau, Padang, Phuket and Singapore. The booking period ended on 31 May 2005, which is valid for travel from 27 June to 30 September 2005. Bookings were made on-line at www.tigerairways.com and were subject to availability on a first-come-first-served basis on selected flights.
"The Great Singapore Sale is an annual event in Singapore that is greatly anticipated to by bargain hunters in the region. What better way for Tiger Airways to participate in the Great Singapore Sale than by offering discounts to our passengers across the region,” added Davis.
