29 August, 2005: SkyEurope has launched ski flights to Salzburg, Innsbruck and Poprad in the Alps and Tatras, hoping to cash in on winter tourism. SkyEurope has started offering direct flights to and from Austrian destinations which connect the Austrian Alps airports to great European cities. The SkyEurope flights will cater to some of the best ski resorts like Kitzbühel, Seefeld, Badgastein and Wagrain.

As of December, Salzburg flights will be twice a week from Barcelona and with two weekly connections from Manchester. Direct SkyEurope flights from Warsaw will be operated on Saturdays.
