Paris Air Show (Le Bourget, France), June 13, 2005 – Embraer displayed the Legacy aircraft at the static exhibition area of the 2005 Paris Air Show at Le Bourget Airport.

The show, one of the most prestigious in the world, is being held June 13-19 in Paris, France. Senior Embraer executives will be on hand during the event, including Vice- President for Corporate Aviation Luís Carlos Affonso.

The Legacy marked Embraer’s introduction in the business aviation market, where the Company intends to establish itself as a strong player. The Legacy enjoys worldwide market acceptance with 52 units in service in 13 countries.

Since entry into service in 2002, Embraer has endeavored to understand and respond to market and customer needs. The knowledge accrued resulted in significant enhancements to the product and services while creating the right conditions for Embraer to identify new opportunities in the business aviation market.

In early May, Embraer held a press conference in Washington DC to announce it would strengthen its position in the business aviation market with new products and services. The first move to expand the Company’s product portfolio is to complement the Legacy offering with two new jets, the Embraer Very Light Jet and Embraer Light Jet. Embraer is shortly expected to unveil a complete range of integrated service solutions that will support the product portfolio expansion.
