7 July, 2005: British Airways plans to launch a new winter flight service to Grenoble on December 10 2005.
BA, in an annoucement, said that the new service will operate five times a week from Gatwick. Ticket price is expected to be from £79 return.
"We believe that Grenoble will be very popular with the growing weekend skiing market as it offers a shorter transfer time to many resorts favoured by British skiers, including Meribel, Courchevel and L'Alpe d'Huez," said Alan Burnett, Head of UK & Ireland Sales, British Airways.
The new service will operate its flights on a two class B737-500 and will operate Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays until the end of March 2006.
