BARBADOS, West Indies, Aug. 8 /PRNewswire/ -- bmi, the UK's second largest full service scheduled airline, announced it would increase its direct Manchester to Barbados service to three flights a week beginning October 24, 2005.
The additional flight will operate on Mondays, complementing the existing flights on Wednesdays and Fridays, by offering more flexibility and choice to travelers, especially with connections from Manchester to London Heathrow and the Scottish cities of Aberdeen, Edinburgh and Glasgow.
bmi chief executive Nigel Turner said, "Barbados is proving to be an extremely popular year-round destination and we expect the addition of a Monday departure will be an attractive option for many travelers to and from the island. Our four flights a week to the Caribbean are also providing excellent opportunities for inter-island connections to other popular Caribbean holiday resorts."

Passengers also have a bird's eye view of their journey throughout the flight as a result of cameras mounted on the nose and belly of the aircraft.
Business class passengers receive extra pampering with their own chef, catering to their culinary tastes on every transatlantic flight and preparing the meals according to their preferences.
