Air-India commissions toll free number at Mumbai

22 June, 2005: Air-India has introduced a toll free number 1600 22 77 22 to facilitate easy and round-the-clock access to its Reservations Offices in Maharashtra, Gujarat, Goa, Bhopal and Indore.

Calls to this number will be handled by Customer Service Agents who will provide all travel-related services such as, effecting reservations and re-bookings, and answer queries pertaining to flight information.

The toll free number is at present accessible for users of landline and mobile phones of MTNL and BSNL. Users of other mobile and landline service providers, such as Orange, Airtel, Tata Indicom, Reliance etc. may call on (022) 25489999 to avail of this facility.

The toll free service will also gradually be extended to other Indian cities.
