21 August 2005:Air Deccan has announced its tie-up with Reliance Web World so that the customers can book tickets through Reliance's retail chain of 241 real broadband centres across 104 cities. The tie-up is expected to be beneficial for both the companies.

Air Deccan Managing Director, Mr Capt G R Gopinath said that a 5% commission of ticket sales through the centres would be given to Reliance Web World. "The ticket delivery mechanism solves the common problem faced by passengers when travel agents close their offices by early evening, forcing many to travel to the airport to book their tickets late at night," he said.

The passengers can now avail the new facility through which they can book tickets, pay for them, reschedule them, cancel them and collect refund from Web World outlets anywhere in the country.

The new Air Deccan ticket booking scheme which is meant for those who don't have internet facility or credit cards. The channel would be open from 10 am to 11 pm throughout the year.

The passengers can book tickets through the Internet, the 24/7 call centre, travel agents or airport ticketing counters.
